So the kids have good friends, next door to us, and play with them on a daily basis..Willow and Henry are home schooled kids, but have so much in common with my two kids that they play very well together..The other day Willow brought over a Chrysalis for the kids to have(Willow and Henry raise butterflies every year)..They hung it in a nice spot for it to hatch..Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it..A few days later the butterfly hatched! Raquel found it in the play room(her future bedroom:) flapping it's little wings...Raquel decided to call her "Brenda"..Raquel said it was a girl because they have more spots? I'm not sure if that is correct but I'll buy it.. Joey was at his school camp so He didn't get to see it until we released it outside...It was a beautiful butterfly.
Joey wanted to hold it too, but it flew away...But atleast he got to see it before it disappeared.
And there she is, flying up, up and away! Happy Trails Brenda!
