Blistery Day at Boomers

I have to say that I will be missing my kids once they go back to school tomorrow..Raquel has had a month off so this is bitter sweet for me..We've had some good times going out to eat, going to the mall, movies, or just lounging around the house.. Having her home made me a bit lazy. I pretended that I was on vacation so that way I won't have to clean house. Sneaky yes, but it works..
Joey was already back in school but today was a holiday and we all decided, ok scratch that, they decided they wanted to go to Boomers..Great way to end the long weekend and vacation..


It was a blistery day and I loved it..  Here's to Good Times, and back to reality! I don't like the reality part though :-)

Technology Crazed

A couple weeks ago Ricardo gave me an early Christmas present: Iphone 4S..As you can imagine I was very very excited and couldn't  believe I had this amazing product in my hands.. Whoever knows me shouldn't be too surprised that I would go crazy with it..Taking pictures, taking videos, posting everything on FB...I'm a little addicted to technology and the awesome way to stay connected to friends and family...

I've uploaded a new application to my phone that can edit pictures. I'm now a little stir crazy with this..Here is an example.

What can I say? Technology is amazing and I love it!

Delmar Fair 2009

The second year at the Delmar Fair with the Potters. They actually have lived here 1yr ago in June.The was the first place we had gone together as San Diegans.. What a great time we had on this day. We took a bus to the Fair, from the parking area we parked our cars. The boys sitting together was so cute.

Such a great day! Wow a year went by sooo quickly, but I'm so glad the Potter clan is here to stay! We've had such a great time together in the last year and more to come in the years ahead!

Fathers Day Outing

We finally got the kids new bikes. It was long over due. On Fathers Day we took an outing to the High School and rode for a long time.

I'm so impressed how well Joey is riding now. No difficulties. Well, only when he turns a corner near a wall and crashes into it. He needs some practice there, but overall he's rides like a pro!

Raquel is trying to learn how to ride without training wheels. But she doesn't last very long without them. She's so happy just the way she rides. With her there is never a rush. That's ok with me. When she's ready she'll get it!
