Swim Class

Swim Lessons are here! This time I had the kids take the class together. But it turned out that Raquel wasn't ready for the higher class so she went to another one, but at the same time as Joey.. So yay, that was just fine with me!!!!

Swimming and Singing

The kids have had a fun filled summer full of beaches and pools.. We went to Moms for the weekend, and took the kids to Aunt Lyndas for some Swim time..

Rylee still wouldn't show me how she could swim without a floaty.. Shannon did get her to do it after awhile, but it wasn't easy..
We had gone to Target for some shopping.. Always a family trip there :)
We got the kids some echo microphones to play with.. They had such a ball using them. They sang and sang and sang..

In Merced

We have made it Merced, Ca. Halfway to Yosemite. I think it's halfway or less than. The kids were so excited to be at the hotel. Holiday Inn Express! Love this hotel.

Shannon, Brandon and the girls showed up later in the evening. The girls wanted to go for a night time swim. Here are my guys, splashing away.

Rylee was not happy in this photo. She didn't want to show Brandon how she can swim without her ring. So a scowl it is.. LOL!

Community Swim

A friend ours lives in an area with community pools, and she let us have the key to go swimming. The kids finally got to cool down after such a hot last week at school.. It was a good day...

Spring Break Rapids

I finally slept in on this nice spring break morning.. Normally I'm getting up at 5 or 5:30am. I woke up at 6:30..That's sleeping in for me! Lucy, purring against me, I get myself out of bed. I saw that Ricardo had gotten up as well. I clean up the dried pots and pans, putting them away, while Lucy cries out for food.. "Ok, LuLu I'll get you some food" I say.
I go into the laundry room to get Lucy's food when I all of a sudden I hear a loud, spraying, sound coming from the kitchen..I swear someone was taking a shower in there, but of course that would be madness. I'm looking around and notice that water is spraying out from under the sink!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! It was like a water rapids ride under the sink! I should have gotten an inner tube to take a cruise, but I was freaking out! I was reaching underneath the sink trying to find the problem, but I was getting soaked.. Pants and slippers getting a wash.. I run to the shower, yelling "Ricardo! the water pipes are bursting!!!" He runs out of the shower, turns off the main water pipe and whats left is a river of water, running all around us.. We get loads of towels and start soaking up the water. The kids are awake by this time, wondering what the heck is going on! The cat just staring at the mess.. As I was cleaning, all I could of think was, "oh my, what about my coffee?" Hahaha! What a wake up call huh?

Humid Swimming

It's been such a Humid summer! So today Ricardo and the kids went swimming in Shan/Brandons pool.

Shannon and I had to go shopping for new goggles for all the kids, because I forgot the goggles for my two and they won't go swimming unless they have them. Joey was inside most of the morning, so once he got the goggles he was outdoors for the remaining of the day. Funny, Funny kids.

Raquel Returns

I finally got to see my girl, after a week! We hugged and cuddled for a long time, but her body heat got so hot, we had to stop hugging.. I was so happy to see Raquel. She still had her night gown on & smelled like campfire.. Shan & family went to a weenie roast, last night, & got home real late so they didn't have time to take a bath..I didn't care, I still hugged her anyways..

We hung out at moms all day, and went swimming at Lynda's.

Now it's my turn to have Sionna this week, while Shan gets to wine down a bit. It's Pay back time!

College Pool

I took the kids to our Local College Pool, to go swimming..We got there at the right time, before all the "day care" kids came..They crowd the pools which I don't like..But the kids enjoyed themselves to the fullest.

Swimming Lessons

Raquel is taking swimming lessons, again, this summer.. She's finally getting the hang of it.. I got her private lessons just so she gets more time with the instructor, and gets a chance to learn faster..Maybe she won't be so scared when we go swimming at my aunts pool or Shan's pool...Let's cross our fingers..

I'm very proud of her!

With this video it may kind of hard to see Raquel getting her lessons..We, the parents, have to stay at a distance so that's why it's so far away..
