Express Christmas, with a little Bling

We just had our "Express Christmas" with my family this past weekend. Every year we have our Mimosas to go along with our day.. My Grandparents arrive, looking very festive and happy..Grandma was wearing her stylish black, blingy pants, and her cute little shoes..She always has had a thing for style. I want to dress just like her someday. Grandpa looked very nice with his sweater vest over his buttoned up shirt. He was all smiles when he walked into the kitchen. Grandma asked me what I was drinking and I said "mimosas". But.before I even had a chance to ask them if they wanted one Grandpa asked " Can I have one?", with a  huge smile on his face..I loved it! He's 90 years young and still loves to have fun..
Grandma cracked us all up with shaking her blingy behind. Grandpa had a bigger smile on his face..LOLOL!
What a funny moment that was.
While talking about the blogs with Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma mentioned that she writes stories too..They are from her past. Boy I would love to read those someday.
It was great seeing my Grandparents Happy..

Late WALL-E

When we got home from the mountains the kids got a nice little surprise from my Dad..It was a belated Xmas gift for them.. Since Raquel is a huge fan of WALL-E my Dad and Char got them a "true" WALL-E Robot...Raquel was tickled by this..She sleeps with him, and puts up his rollers every night because that's what walle does in the movie. It's pretty sweet. My Dad is thrilled that Raquel actually likes a Disney character, even if it's not a princess one... Thanks Dad, and Charlene for getting this extra thing for the kids..It was so thoughtful!

Xmas of 2008

Whew! What a Xmas! Busy, busy... We first started our Holiday at Shan and Brandon's for an early Christmas with my Mom and Dad.

Here is the night before, with the kids hanging out on the couches.. They were all a little under the weather, but we managed to have a great get together after all..

The guys, all bundled up, in the garage watching tv and using the computer..I tell ya, they are nuts! It was freezing out there! But they really do love hanging out in the cold..That's what they do.

Raquel was happy to get her next "American Girl" book..

Xmas Eve with the Potters. Again, the boys cannot get enough of each other. They were so excited to spend their first Xmas together, in San Diego that is.

The Girls got in the mood for getting into costumes..They were adorable.

Christmas Morning was great! Santa made the kids wishes come true. From Poke'mon to Littlest Pets, they couldnt' be more happy.

Santa couldn't leave Lucy out. She had a blast playing, chase the feather, with Raquel..
